About the Project

CDC Algo Canada Reimagined is an independent civic knowledge project built from public discussions about how Canada might be redesigned from first principles.

The project is not a political party, government body, or formal policy platform. Its purpose is to document ideas clearly enough that people can understand, criticize, compare, and improve them.

Editorial principles

  • Proposals are written neutrally.
  • Arguments for and against are separated.
  • Similar ideas are merged rather than duplicated.
  • Strong claims should eventually be supported by evidence.
  • Publication does not equal endorsement.
  • Personal attacks, incitement, and discriminatory abuse are not part of policy analysis.
  • Editors may reorganize submissions for clarity and consistency.

Long-term goal

The long-term goal is a searchable, interconnected encyclopedia of proposals covering every major institution required to build a modern Canadian society.
